I guess I'll post here too, but I 'm glad to finally be out of boot camp. It's getting light outside and the snow is still pretty well undisturbed, or so it seems from what I can see. when it was actually snowing though, oh brother, I'm talking horizontal-moving little stingy ice mabobers...try marching in that. It was still pretty funny yesterday, there were so many people going OMG! SNOW! And I was like...yeah...it is. I mean, snow is my favorite precipitation and all, but stop yelling in my ear thank you. Back in home, getting clipped by a snowstorm ment maybe an inch or two that generally melted by the next day. We were just clipped by this one, and we got about five to six inches, and it's gonna be here for awhile. It's not really cold here, the lowest so far was twenty I think, but then you add in the wind-chill, and we're talking a nasty biting wind, less than a block seperates me from the lake. Ah, the glory of civilian clothes, our uniforms actually range from comfy as heck to not to bad in terms of wearing one for the full day. 100% wool isn't as itchy as it my seem, especially once you get used to it, now just my arms bother me for a few minutes before I no longer notice. I'm making my grand reappearance later in December, can't wait to see you guys again, It'll keep me from dealing harm on some of my roomates. Later PS-I think my sis would particularly enjoy this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dMpX71ohtU |
